ADDING ROUTINES

Like adding dancers, you can add routines one by one or import a list.

ADDING ROUTINES ONE BY ONE

To add routines individually, click on "Create New Routine" and fill out the required information.

In the example below, the competition asks for

• Routine Name
• Length
• Prop Description
• Choreographer 

Not every competition will ask for this information.  Some may ask for more, some less.

Each routine name must be unique at this point.  You will not be able to add multiple routines under the same name.
For example, if you have multiple "TBA" routines, you will have to name them TBA1, TBA2 or JAZZ GROUP TBA, JAZZ Jr. GROUP TBA.

ADDING DANCERS TO THE ROUTINE

The left box lists all dancers in your active Dancer Roster, the right box lists dancers added to the routine.
Both lists can be sorted by First Name, Last Name or Age clicking on the column header. The lists also have a search bar.  These boxes can appear on top of each other depending on your screen size.

Click on each dancer you wish to add to the routine then click the >> button.

You have now added the selected dancers to the routine.

CATEGORY SELECTION

Lastly, we specify the routine's categories.

The category involving AGE and NUMBER OF DANCERS will be calculated automatically by the registration system. This is based on information from the dancers you added to the routine.

Other categories involving performance level or dance disciplines will need to be selected from the drop-down menu.  Unsure of the categories? Look at the competition's website for detailed rules.

In this section, you may also find options for extra time, special requests, student choreography, title solo competition options etc. Please be sure to fill out each routine fully.

IMPORTING ROUTINES

Another way to add routines to your account is to simply upload or import them from an excel spreadsheet.
Only the following information can be uploaded this way:

• Routine Name
• Routine Length (in Seconds)
• Prop Description
• Choreographer
• Dancers Name (First Last, Separated by commas)

Once imported, the list of routines can be found under "Transfer Existing Routines"

TRANSFERRING EXISTING ROUTINES

Transferring routines between competitions or adding routines after an import is easy!
Click on Transfer Existing Routines in the ROUTINES section of your registration.

1. Select the checkbox of the routine you wish to add to your current registration.
2. Update the categories to reflect your current competition registration rules.
3. Click on "Add To Registration" found on the top or bottom of this page.
4. The selected routines will now be found under "Registered Routines"

MAKING CHANGES TO YOUR ROUTINES

Routines that are found under "Registered Routines" or "Transfer Existing Routines" can be updated before a registration is submitted.

1. Click into "Registered Routines" or "Transfer Existing Routines"
2. Click on the name of the routine in question.
3. Make changes to your routine information, dancer(s), categories etc.
4. Click "Add Routine to Registration" to complete the changes.

Once you add routines to your registration, space is automatically reserved for you at that competition.  Registration submission is not required to save your spot.  Be sure to check your competition's registration payment deadlines and submit your registration and payment on time.  Competitions reserve the right to remove your entries or registration from their events should payment not be received.
